Talk to Toby Cadman - Extradition law specialist in an ever-developing area of international law encompassing areas of domestic and international criminal law and international public law.

After having spent 7 months with the CPS Special Crimes Department, Extradition Unit on secondment and an increasing defence practice, Toby has developed the necessary expertise and experience in all aspects of extradition and mutual legal assistance to provide prompt advice and representation to individuals, States, and prosecutorial agencies on obligations arising under international treaties, the European Arrest Warrant Scheme, the Extradition Act 2003, and other bilateral agreements. In particular, Toby has previously been instructed in the extradition of a former head of State; two war crimes suspects accused by the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and numerous Part 1 and Part 2 extradition requests in the Courts of England and Wales. He also advises and provides representation in requests from foreign states and investigative agencies, corporations and individuals for mutual legal assistance in international criminal proceedings.
