Vacancy: Internship At Nine Bedford Row International Practice Group On The Syria Team

NIne Bedford Row International is currently seeking legal interns to work on a number of matters related to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Syria.

Toby Cadman is currently instructed by the Syrian Emergency Task Force in Washington DC and is actively representing victims' groups in Syria in taking cases before the United Nations Human Rights Council and Special Procedures mechanisms. In addition to this a number of civil and criminal cases are being pursued on behalf of Syrian victims in the United States, United Kingdom and a host of other European States.

A number of legal intern positions have now arisen that require immediate filling.

Interns are selected on a competitive basis. The following minimum qualifications are required:

Enrolment in a graduate-level degree programme in law;
Demonstrated interest in the field of international criminal law;
Language skills: written and spoken fluency in English and preferably Arabic.
Fully computer literate; and
HIghly competent in legal research.
